Default End of the game...now what?

I just completed Guild Wars, and now I have no clue what to do. Leveling my other character and taking him all the way from Ascalon to Ring of Fire seems very time consuming and grind-ish. Boring. PvP? Not for me...so I guess it's just UW runs...pointless UW runs. I never realised how much of the game the storyline makes up for PvErs. I thought the real fun came from after beating Hell's Precipice and then going on to do other stuff (farming, exploring, etc.)
If anyone could suggest something that is fun (besides PvP ), I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks

Here is some of what you can do after beating the game:

Collecting rare stuff/upgrades and stuff
FoW and Uw quests/runs
Getting all 15k armor and black/gold dye
helping guildies.
maxing out your weapons, getting superior runes
PvP
skill capping

Try helping others complete their quests/missions..
Pay it forward.. I'm sure you had someone help you with various
quests/missions.
Give others coming up a hand.

1. Get the fissure armor.
2. Unlock all skills for your classes.
3. Create another character and repeat what you have done.
4. Repeat step 1 and 2.
5. Repeat step 3 and 4.
6. Repeat step 1 to 5.
7. Stop play Guild Wars after you complete step 1 to 6.

complete all quests
complete all bonus missions
unlock all skills
unlock all runes

on a sidenote, if you don't play a character similar to the one you just had, playing through the game a second game might be much more fun than you think. i know it, i've done it four times already

look at what is left and if there is not anything at the moment put it aside and do something else you enjoy.

keep checking off and on for new content that has been added at the updates on the GW site.

it is not costing you a monthly fee so you arent losing any money by not playing for a period of time.

if you are not having fun stop for a bit before you start to hate the game

I don't get why people don't enjoy PvP... I think they just need a guild that has strategy - it makes it a lot more fun than a PUG

Really, the game was marketed for its PvP... so buying it and not wanting to PvP is kinda silly.

Comparing it to an MMO, I feel I got my monies worth. When I play MMOs, I don't feel what I do every month is worth 12 dollars, in addition to the money spent on the game itself...

Here is something you could do:

play something else...or go outside and make a friend...then come back when the next chapter is realise(or even as early as the two new areas) and resume play.

the end of Guild Wars is not the end of your life....why are people having so much difficulty adjusting to life after GW?

Change your secondary profession and then switch to using just that. Then master each profession in that way.

There isn't much USEFUL stuff to do after you beat the game, you can unlock the skills, get your weapons, and your runes. Other than that...pfft, that's it. The fissure armor looks ugly and I've got better things to do with my 500k than buy armor that looks worse than the 15k armor.

I've got all the skills except for the monk skills which I could care less about, and I sure as hell will not go through every mission and quest for the 5th time just for those seeing as how I refuse to play a monk.

Got my runes, got my weapons, got my characters, got my skills. Got the 15k armors that I want, don't care about wasting so much money for the ugly fissure amor...what's more? Some PvP. I've never been immersed in a game of PvP yet though so that's a dead end street.

Basically once you have everything that's it.

The expansion is going to add the same amount of content (area's, missions, etc) as the game launched according the dev's but that's not untill next year. I started over with Ranger/? after beating the game E/Me.

Just like I don't get why people would WANT to PvP......That's what the PvE mobs are for.....to bash. I prefer to work with every single player in the game, not help some and fight others....and I am in a great guild

Everyone plays this game for just a little bit different reasons than everyone else. Sure the game was marketed for PvP, but it's got a terrific PvE component to it. GW is worth the price just for the storyline, if not also for the PvP imho. Tho I must admit, Guild vs Guild is alot of fun.....

Counterstrike - PvP
Guild Wars - PvE

GW meets my needs for a PvE game...but not for a PvP game. I can't stand playing GW PvP

Here's something I've been doing... take your high level character back to the beginning areas, and offer to run new characters to areas for free. Nothing burns me more than seeing people charge for runs... and don't get me started on Forge running.
